About The Position

Bloomingdale’s Sales Professionals guide and inspire customers to make style a source of creative energy. They provide gracious service by using their interest in fashion, styling talent, and product knowledge to build long-term client relationships in stores and online. Through welcoming, engaging, and inquisitive conversation, they create human connections and deliver the Bloomingdale’s customer experience. They circulate actively on the sales floor, identify customer needs, explain Loyalty programs, and support the shopping experience from beginning to end. They also help deliver operational excellence by using the store fulfillment system and maintaining merchandise-to-sell standards, the sales floor, and fitting rooms.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Create an easy, seamless, and enjoyable in-store and online experience while building and cultivating customer relationships.
Drive sales with in-store and online clients by embracing and becoming proficient with technology.
Participate in the merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
Circulate actively on the sales floor, determine customer needs, and share the benefits of Loyalty programs.
Support customers throughout the shopping experience and maintain floor and fitting-room upkeep.
