About The Position

A part-time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are the most important aspects of the position.

The associate helps customers select appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and restocking, follows visual standards, maintains an organized sales environment, and assists with loss prevention. The role requires working effectively in a fast-paced retail environment and may involve extended hours during critical project phases.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-oriented, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and sell appropriate merchandise while building customer relationships and maintaining DTLR standards.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic attitude to customers and toward the job and company.
• Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
• Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
