About The Position

The Housekeeper assists with the daily operations of an assigned facility in a healthcare setting. The role includes routine and non-routine cleaning, upkeep of interior and exterior areas, waste and recycling removal, responding to emergency cleaning requests, and maintaining restrooms and break areas. The Housekeeper also ensures chemicals are labeled and stored properly, follows safety rules, communicates with management, and documents the use of chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Other tasks may be assigned as required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age, subject to the position and legal requirements.
Have dependable transportation.
Submit to and pass required drug screening and background checks.
Have at least 2 years of janitorial experience.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision.
Work harmoniously with others.
Possess problem-solving skills and be a self-starter.
Pass criminal background and employment verification checks; pass a clean MVR check if driving.
Pass pre-employment and random employment drug screens.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleanup of building areas as directed.
Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space, and interior areas.
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup.
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
Ensure chemicals are labeled and properly stored.
Maintain good verbal and written communication with management.
Maintain and stock restrooms and break areas with necessary paper products and chemicals.
Obtain complete and accurate job requests from management and clients.
Follow and communicate safety rules and regulations.
Represent Sizemore, Inc. professionally.
Maintain documentation of account usage of chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure their safe use.
