About The Position

Caring Hands United Inc. is seeking a part-time CNA to provide support in clients’ homes in the Hinesville, Georgia area. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Staffing Coordinator, the CNA supports clients with daily living tasks and personal care, performs assigned direct care activities and basic personal care procedures, and provides training for clients in the community. The position requires travel to one or more client locations. The company offers excellent wages, benefits, and flexible scheduling.

Requirements

CNA certification in the State of Georgia.
At least 6 months of experience working in a health care facility or in home care.
Ability to pass a criminal history check and drug screen.
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of procedures performed by a certified nursing assistant.
CPR certification.
First Aid certification.
TB/PPD.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to travel to one or more client locations in the community.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care and with learning and performing daily living skills.
Participate in recreational and social activities, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping.
Accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed.
Observe and document client behavior.
Perform assigned direct care activities and basic personal care procedures.
Provide training for clients in the community.
