About The Position

Caring Hands United Inc. is seeking a compassionate part-time CNA in the Marietta, Georgia area. The CNA works in clients’ homes, providing support with daily living tasks and personal care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Staffing Coordinator. The role requires travel to one or more client locations in the community and performing assigned direct care activities, basic personal care procedures, and training for clients in the community. Requirements

• CNA certification in the State of Georgia.
• At least 6 months of experience working in a health care facility or in home care.
• Ability to pass a criminal history check and drug screen.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of procedures performed by a certified nursing assistant.
• CPR certification.
• First Aid certification.
• TB/PPD.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel to one or more client locations in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and learning and performing daily living skills.
• Participate in recreational and social activities, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities as needed.
• Observe and document client behavior.
• Perform assigned direct care activities and basic personal care procedures.
• Provide training for clients in the community.
