About The Position

As a Sales Associate at the West Elm Outlet in Wrentham, you provide customers with a distinctive shopping experience through excellent customer service, effective selling techniques, and in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced specialty retail environment. You help customers find suitable products and services, support sales goals, process transactions, and maintain merchandise presentation and store standards. The role is identified as holiday seasonal. The anticipated pay range is $16.00–$17.00 per hour. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance, and Williams-Sonoma, Inc. will not sponsor employment-based immigration for this position.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service and retail sales experience; specialty retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods, operate a POS system, and lift and mobilize items up to 75 pounds using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide sincere, friendly, energetic customer service consistent with World-Class service standards.
• Achieve established sales and contest goals, and maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Assist customers with gift wrap, gift registry, locating merchandise, catalog orders, special orders, back orders, charge sends, courier deliveries, and furniture orders.
• Use effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge, including product features and benefits.
• Accurately process register transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting.
• Maintain store cleanliness and standards, and straighten, clean, and help maintain the stockroom as needed.
• Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
