About The Position

The Holiday Seasonal Associate supports the West Elm store during the holiday shopping season, helping create an inspiring and welcoming shopping experience. The associate assists customers on the sales floor, operates the register, replenishes merchandise, and helps keep the store organized and ready for peak business. The role requires adaptability to support the store wherever business needs require and includes sales, fulfillment, inventory, and store-maintenance activities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product selection, gift ideas, promotions, and store services.
• Process sales, returns, exchanges, and other point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Help achieve store sales goals through product knowledge and personalized recommendations.
• Receive, process, ticket, stock, and replenish merchandise throughout the store.
• Maintain organized stockrooms and sales-floor presentation so products are easy to shop.
• Support fulfillment activities, customer pickups, deliveries, and inventory accuracy as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized sales-floor, stockroom, and checkout areas.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and support the store wherever business needs require.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
