About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing quality customer service and driving product sales. The role requires knowledge of the store’s product areas, promotion of sales and offers, and adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual standards. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience that attracts and retains customers. The position also supports daily store operations and promotes merchandise.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, assist customers as they enter the store, and help multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to develop selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, following guidance in the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal control procedures are accurate and effective, and by reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
