About The Position

Cafaro is seeking motivated, self-driven individuals with a positive attitude to join the Ohio Valley Mall maintenance team. The role involves maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial duties to keep the mall clean, safe, and well-maintained for customers and staff. Work includes routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and other public spaces, along with minor repairs and maintenance. The position calls for attention to detail, a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities also include landscaping interior and exterior areas, painting, restroom sanitation, snow and ice removal, facility repairs, replacing lighting and ceiling components, and assisting with seasonal tasks. Employees are expected to follow safety practices, communicate and cooperate with colleagues and supervisors, and maintain an organized work environment. Requirements

Responsibilities

Landscape interior and exterior areas, including cutting grass, controlling weeds, and trimming trees and hedges.
Perform painting tasks, including touch-ups and full repaints.
Clean and maintain public restrooms, keeping them sanitary, stocked, and presentable.
Remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and parking areas and apply melting agents as needed.
Perform repairs, including roof maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and other assigned tasks.
Replace light bulbs, lenses, and ceiling tiles as necessary.
Assist with seasonal tasks, such as setting up seasonal décor and preparing the property for changing weather.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and properly store and maintain tools and equipment.
Follow safety practices and protocols, participate in safety training, and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.
Communicate with supervisors and team members and cooperate to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Support and encourage safe work practices among peers.
Adapt to changing tasks and priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
