About The Position

Cafaro is seeking motivated, self-driven individuals with a positive attitude to join the Eastwood Mall maintenance team. This role involves maintenance, housekeeping, and janitorial duties to keep the mall clean, safe, and well-maintained for customers and staff. Work includes routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and other public spaces, as well as minor repairs and maintenance. The position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, initiative, and the ability to contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Landscape interior and exterior areas, including cutting grass, controlling weeds, and trimming trees and hedges.
Perform painting tasks, including touch-ups and full repaints.
Clean and maintain public restrooms so they are sanitary, stocked, and presentable.
Shovel and remove snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and parking areas, applying melting agents as needed.
Perform repairs, including roof maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and other assigned tasks.
Replace light bulbs, lenses, and ceiling tiles as needed.
Assist with seasonal tasks, such as setting up seasonal décor and preparing the property for changing weather conditions.
Follow safe work practices, safety guidelines, and protocols.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and colleagues and communicate to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Participate in safety training and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including properly storing and maintaining tools and equipment.
Support and encourage safe work practices among peers.
Adapt to changing tasks and priorities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
