About The Position

The Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also includes ringing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, participating in store recovery and shrink-reduction activities, and supporting a safe and positive store environment.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
