About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. The role requires knowledge of products across store departments, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and promotion of sales and merchandise. As an ambassador for the organization and brand, the Sales Associate helps create a distinctive customer experience and build long-term customer relationships. The position also supports daily store operations and works to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks accurately.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including welcoming customers and assisting multiple customers during busy periods.
Promote and sell the organization’s services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track sales performance.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company communications.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell products, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by following internal control procedures and informing management or appropriate officials of potential fraud risks.
