About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing strong customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate is also expected to support inventory and merchandising tasks, maintain an orderly sales environment, follow company policies and visual standards, and assist in preventing theft.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service, perform accurate inventory control, transport merchandise, and maintain the store.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous work experience in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs, recommend appropriate merchandise, and build customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide customers with a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression.
Comply with company policies and participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat, orderly, and organized sales environment as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
