About The Position

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of new infusion centers. This part-time, in-person role in Wilmington, Delaware, is approximately eight hours per week or one day per week. The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality patient care and support the launch of the centers, bringing clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence. Requirements

Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Delaware.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
Strong clinical judgment.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in IV therapy.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with patients about scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, and other aspects of their care.
Coordinate with referring and prescribing providers on order clarification, patient status, and plan-of-care communication.
Resolve clinical escalations in accordance with policies and procedures.
Prescribe select medication according to patient needs, clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies.
Onboard new Medicare patients, including completing establishment calls and documentation.
Support clinical quality and compliance across the region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity.
