About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise, supports shipments and restocking, follows visual standards, and helps maintain an organized sales environment. Previous retail or customer-service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Previous work experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify customer needs, sell appropriate merchandise, and build customer relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
• Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
• Present a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression to customers and demonstrate enthusiasm toward the job and company.
• Comply with company policies.
• Participate in service training and product programs.
• Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and ensure adequate size runs are represented according to visual directions.
• Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
• Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
• Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
