About The Position

The Sales Associate is a commission-eligible position based in Veronica Beard’s Tampa location. The role assists customers with their shopping needs and provides an exceptional shopping experience. The associate is expected to know Veronica Beard merchandise, understand current fashion trends, and convey the brand’s style. The role also includes maintaining merchandise displays and store cleanliness, replenishing and processing merchandise, and following company policies and procedures. The position requires a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and comfort appearing on camera for social media content.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail service and selling experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
High school education or equivalent.
Basic math skills for purchase and payment transactions and bank deposits.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Strong observation skills, including identifying and assessing customer and employee behavior, reactions, and floor awareness.
Ability to retain and use information such as names, merchandise details, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of current fashion trends and styles.
Comfort appearing on camera for social media purposes, including stills and video.

Responsibilities

Assist customers by wardrobing and selling merchandise that meets or exceeds their needs.
Greet customers and provide exceptional service, responding to and following through on their needs.
Consistently achieve selling standards and goals.
Provide merchandise information and current fashion tips to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
Represent Veronica Beard’s fashion and style.
Use the Client Program and client book to develop a client base that generates sales consistently.
Maintain displays, replenish merchandise on the sales floor, and assist with floor-set execution.
Return merchandise from fitting rooms to the selling floor.
Help maintain cleanliness in the store and backroom.
Process merchandise shipments as needed.
Follow company policies, procedures, dependability guidelines, and attendance requirements.
Attend store meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
