About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other duties assigned by management. The role is expected to be performed professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. Associates help customers identify and select appropriate products, support inventory and merchandising activities, maintain store standards, and contribute to loss prevention, operational compliance, and employee training. A standard work week is 35 to 40 hours.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision, including taking charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Proven ability to build and work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships and provide attentive, professional, courteous, reliable, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable product assistance.
Use basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend suitable merchandise while maintaining company standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in monitoring store issues and inconsistencies related to loss, and help achieve shrink goals at or below company plan.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support training employees in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft, and follow loss prevention policies and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money taken in during the assignment, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and information needed for effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in multiple stores in the assigned district when needed.
