About The Position
DTLR is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to support customers and help deliver a positive experience in its store. The role drives sales and customer relationships through customer service and selling techniques, and performs daily store functions including merchandising, sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position.
Requirements
- Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify appropriate merchandise for customers, satisfy their needs, and build relationships while maintaining DTLR standards.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Provide each customer with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
- Comply with company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs as directed.
- Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
