About The Position
A Part-Time Sales Associate drives selling efforts and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are the most important aspects of the position. The associate presents a positive, energetic, and enthusiastic impression to customers, follows company policies and visual standards, and helps maintain an organized sales environment. Previous retail or customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
- Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell appropriate merchandise by applying basic fashion and trend knowledge, satisfying customer needs, and building customer relationships.
- Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
- Present a positive, energetic, outgoing impression to customers and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Participate in service training and product programs.
- Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
- Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
- Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
- Keep the store organized as directed by store management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
