About The Position

A Sales Associate at Anthropologie contributes to driving sales by providing each customer with a genuine and unique experience. The role involves engaging customers in personalized conversations, helping them find products, sharing product suggestions, and using technology to complete transactions or order unavailable items. Associates work collaboratively with peers, share product and trend knowledge, and contribute to a positive team environment. They also support shipment and omnichannel order fulfillment, maintain floor stock, and uphold Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards while prioritizing customers.

Requirements

Experience in customer service.
Experience being a team player.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Initiate genuine, personalized conversations so customers feel welcome, heard, and valued.
Connect with multiple customers on the sales floor and share product suggestions.
Use technology to transact in the moment, find sizes and colors, and place orders for items unavailable in the store.
Build productive relationships with peers, ask for support when needed, and help others.
Participate in sharing product knowledge, current trends, and personal styling priorities.
Contribute to positive team morale by participating in store initiatives and highlighting peers and leaders through the SPARKED journal.
Share insights and feedback about the customer and employee experience with Store Leadership.
Understand how service and selling responsibilities on each shift affect store business.
Support shipment processes, learn about new and restocked products, and contribute to omnichannel order fulfillment while maintaining floor stock.
Maintain Anthropologie’s visual and operational standards and stay current on merchandising updates.
