About The Position

The Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position. Associates help customers find appropriate merchandise, assist with shipments and restocking, maintain visual standards and an orderly sales floor, and follow company policies and training programs.

Requirements

Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Basic knowledge of fashion and style trends and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide customer service and support inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred, but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Use fashion and trend knowledge to identify suitable merchandise for customers, build customer relationships, and maintain DTLR standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Provide each customer with a positive, energetic, and outgoing impression, while maintaining an enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Follow visual standards, complete daily restocking, and maintain adequate size runs according to visual directions.
Assist in preventing employee and customer theft.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Help keep the store organized as directed by store management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
