About The Position

A Part-Time Sales Associate drives sales and customer relationships by providing excellent customer service and using effective selling techniques. The role performs daily store functions, including product merchandising and sales, customer relations, and store maintenance. Customer service, sales, and teamwork are central to the position.

The associate helps customers find appropriate merchandise while maintaining DTLR standards and building relationships. They assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing; uphold visual standards; keep the sales floor neat and organized; and support inventory accuracy and loss prevention. The role requires a positive, enthusiastic approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
• Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and a desire to work with customers in a retail setting.
• Problem-solving, analytical, detail-orientation, flexibility, communication, and interpersonal skills to support customer service, inventory control, merchandise transport, and store maintenance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and orderly sales environment and organize the store as directed by store management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
