About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned responsibilities. The role is expected to be performed professionally, courteously, reliably, and with a results-oriented approach. Associates help customers find suitable products, maintain store standards, support operational compliance and loss prevention, and help keep the sales floor neat and orderly. A standard work week is 35 to 40 hours.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer service work experience is preferred but not necessary.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and other employees.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision, including taking charge of the store when necessary.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style trend knowledge and interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Proven ability to build and work as part of a team, handle responsibility, and understand the needs of the street lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, reliable, attentive, honest, and responsive service.
Identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable product assistance.
Apply basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend appropriate merchandise while maintaining company standards.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager in identifying and addressing loss or inventory inconsistencies to help meet shrink goals.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support employee training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by preventing shoplifting and internal theft and following loss prevention and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money taken in during assigned shifts, and work with store management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments and potential problems relevant to effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
