About The Position

The e-Commerce Sales Associate works with customers online, over the phone, and in person to guide them through purchasing a vehicle in AutoNation’s no-haggle sales environment. The role includes responding to leads promptly, answering questions, sharing information, and helping customers move from initial phone or internet contact to an in-store experience.

Associates help customers select a vehicle, discuss terms and payment options that suit their needs and budgets, and close sales. They provide an exceptional experience before and after purchase, follow up to support customer satisfaction and loyalty, and help transition customers to the Service department. The position is commission-based, with estimated earnings of $2,000–$14,000 per month.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
