About The Position

The Sales Associate supports the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals and initiatives. This role provides excellent customer service through effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. The Sales Associate maintains company standards for merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing, and helps keep the store and backroom neat, clean, and organized.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer engagement skills.
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and in the stockroom, climb a ladder, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Prioritize assisting customers by staying aware of customer activity and responding with urgency.
Greet and acknowledge customers and provide an appropriate level of service.
Communicate merchandise value and quality, share current promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items when needed.
Use sound judgment to address customer concerns effectively.
Apply appropriate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
Provide fast, friendly, and accurate cashwrap service and educate customers about the PLACE Card.
Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
Follow company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays.
Maintain a neat, clean, organized stockroom and customer-ready environment while following safety requirements.
Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standards.
Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
Promptly inform the Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs to help ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
Contribute focused, well-managed efforts toward achieving store goals.
Process stock when necessary and demonstrate flexibility.
