About The Position

Krise Transportation is hiring a School Van Driver to transport students between home and school. Drivers are an essential link between students and schools and are responsible for prioritizing student safety and welfare. The role is part of a supportive team and family environment, with a schedule aligned with the student calendar and opportunities to take on additional school activity and trip assignments. The position is part-time and pays $22.00 per hour. Safety and attendance and year-end bonuses may also be available.

Requirements

• Have a valid driver's license for at least two years.
• Have a satisfactory driving history, based on a review of state records.
• Have a satisfactory criminal history and pass child abuse history checks.
• Take and pass an initial and routine driver physical.
• Participate in and pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Transport children in a school van every day.
• Help ensure the safety, welfare, and wellness of students.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Potentially take additional school activity and trip assignments.
