Sales Associate Men's Apparel - Part Time
About The Position
The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience and helps customers make buying decisions through needs assessment and product recommendations. The associate also promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up, maintains product knowledge, replenishes and restocks merchandise, and keeps the work area clean and stocked.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
- Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
Responsibilities
- Support world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers.
- Demonstrate products to customers.
- Replenish and restock products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines and as required.
- Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
- Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
- Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
- Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
