About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience and provides a legendary experience for every customer by helping them make buying decisions. This includes identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The associate demonstrates products, replenishes and restocks merchandise, maintains knowledge of products and advertised sales, and helps with seasonal floor merchandise moves. The role also maintains pricing and signage, keeps the work area clean and stocked, and follows company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
