About The Position

The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The position supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining merchandise and displays, and helping customers make informed buying decisions. The associate performs assigned duties under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete work and recommend improvements to procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
Ability to communicate with customers and associates in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
Demonstrate products to customers and provide information, assistance, and direction.
Help customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.
Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Replenish and restock products according to merchandising guidelines.
Maintain knowledge of products through ongoing training and stay informed about advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
