About The Position

The Stylist serves as a trusted, knowledgeable advisor who helps customers select products that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role helps customers discover and express their personal style and shows them how to incorporate Kate Spade products into their existing wardrobe. The position combines customer engagement and styling with sales, brand storytelling, and operational excellence in a retail environment.

Requirements

• Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
• Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
• English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, as applicable to the market.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, and high-traffic retail days such as public holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, as well as climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge.
• Listen actively and ask follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
• Provide styling advice, suggest add-ons, and create complete looks.
• Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
• Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
• Reinforce and celebrate customers’ choices and invite them to return.
• Drive results through customer connections and storytelling.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and product attributes across all categories.
• Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
• Give and receive feedback honestly and constructively.
