About The Position

Arhaus is seeking a full-time Design Consultant in Newport Beach. Founded in 1986, Arhaus partners with artisans around the world to create sustainably sourced, lovingly made, heirloom-quality furniture and décor. The Design Consultant represents the Arhaus brand, maximizes sales, and consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience. The role uses the company’s selling model to close transactions and requires conducting business according to company standards, policies, and procedures. It also provides customer service and space-planning assistance while maintaining a sales-driven focus.

Responsibilities

• Meet required monthly sales and productivity standards.
• Continually develop enhanced selling behaviors according to the company’s selling model.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge.
• Maintain a guest book to organize, generate, and cultivate business.
• Proactively and consistently follow up with guests before and after the sale and at delivery.
• Improve performance based on feedback from store management.
• Promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Perform assigned opening and closing duties.
• Accurately perform systems functions and maintain operational standards.
• Record all hours worked.
• Review and act on email and company communications.
• Participate in weekly one-on-ones and team meetings.
• Work collaboratively with all team members.
