About The Position

A pre-insulated piping manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Assistant for its Sales Department. The Sales Assistant supports the National Sales Manager and helps coordinate work between independent sales representatives and the company. The role also handles pricing, freight estimates, quotations, order processing, sales records, file maintenance, and follow-up on sales quotations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to adapt to varied work situations and interruptions, while organizing work for timely completion.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of GXD (AS400).

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between independent sales representatives and the company, assisting the National Sales Manager.
• Prepare pricing, freight estimates, and quotations, and process orders.
• Maintain accurate sales records and files.
• Follow up on sales quotations.
