About The Position

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to join their Business Development team. This role serves as the primary technical resource for assigned product lines, partnering with Engineering, Business Development, and Sales teams during pre-sales and post-sales phases. The Sales Application Engineer will be the go-to expert for complex customer application questions, project troubleshooting, and specialized guidance on technology integration. While focusing on a dedicated product line, this role involves collaboration with a broader team of Application Engineers, Sales, Engineering, and Product Managers to share best practices and maintain high technical customer support standards. The Product Engineering Team, part of the Excellerate Products division, focuses on transforming ideas into real-world products like Data Center power distribution, Electric Vehicle charging skids, and switchboards, with an emphasis on quality, manufacturability, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management etc. preferred.
3-5+ years of experience with technical products and customer projects, including roles in sales support, application engineering, or product specialization within manufacturing.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time other than the TN1 Visa (Canadian).

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical expert, partnering with sales teams to support customer engagement, specify appropriate solutions, and help close opportunities.
Guide customers through project lifecycles by providing technical expertise and recommendations to ensure products are applied effectively and meet project requirements.
Develop, document, and refine processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across technical sales support and application engineering activities.
Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and implement best practices to enhance team performance and customer outcomes.
Review quotes for technical accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with customer requirements, ensuring solutions meet specifications and organizational standards.
Ensure accurate product configuration and documentation. Maintain and support configurator rules, driving consistency and reliability in product data and system outputs.
Partner with engineering, product management, and operations teams to align on product capabilities, resolve technical challenges, and support continuous product improvement.
Maintain deep knowledge of product lines, including features, specifications, and application requirements, to provide informed recommendations and training to internal teams and customers.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
