About The Position
Nordstrom is hiring for sales and support positions across Women's Apparel, Men's Apparel, Shoes, Active & Lingerie, Kids Apparel & Shoes, Accessories, Home, and Stock & Fulfillment. Candidates may attend the hiring event at the Somerset Collection store at 2850 West Big Beaver Road, Troy, Michigan, on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. No advance scheduling is needed; applicants may arrive at any time during the event for an interview. The interview process takes approximately one hour, and on-the-spot offers will be made for most roles. Bringing a resume is welcome but not required. Applications are also accepted on an ongoing basis, and applicants unable to attend the event may still be considered.
Requirements
- Remain in continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
- Frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching and lifting items above the head.
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
