About The Position

Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver in Sanford, Florida. The driver operates a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products and services along a defined route. The role serves automotive repair, fleet, and manufacturing businesses, and may involve visiting 10–12 customer sites per day. Safety-Kleen will pay for required endorsements if needed.

Requirements

Class B CDL.
Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment.
Basic computer and math skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to perform physical functions required by the job.
Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and position-specific physical.
Meet facial-hair standards if the position requires use of a respirator, in accordance with OSHA’s Respiratory Protection standard, 29 CFR 1910.134.

Nice To Haves

Commercial route driving experience, including Class C or non-CDL experience.
Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Make health and safety the top priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.
Visit customer sites, potentially 10–12 per day.
Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
Upsell products and services at customer locations and generate new leads in the field.
Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups on time.
Follow local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Observe company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
