About The Position

The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and guides them through the start of their fitness journey. The role builds trust-based relationships by listening to members' goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions that support fitness success. It combines a passion for fitness with strong interpersonal skills to create a positive, motivating, results-driven member experience.

The associate greets and checks in members and guests, responds to their needs, helps them connect with fitness offerings, and supports a welcoming, informative, and inclusive experience. The role also helps maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe gym environment. Team members may participate in the company's Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans. Minimum travel may be required for training and lead generation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or fitness sales.
• Obtain CPR and AED certification within 60 days of employment.
• Availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate authenticity, sincerity, open-mindedness, and integrity.
• Be self-motivated, passionate about helping others, and interested in learning and personal growth.
• Maintain a positive attitude and strive to meet or exceed goals.
• Embrace challenges and view setbacks as opportunities to learn and grow.
• Have a strong service mentality and a desire to deliver exceptional member experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build first-name relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, and connect members and guests with appropriate resources.
• Help keep the gym clean, well-maintained, and safe for members and guests.
• Deliver a welcoming, informative, inclusive sales and service experience to guests and members, and help them take appropriate next steps toward their fitness goals.
• Support new-member onboarding and help members connect with fitness offerings.
• Greet and check in members and promptly attend to their needs.
• Participate in applicable Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans.
