The Sales and Service Associate welcomes new members and guides them through the start of their fitness journey. The role builds genuine, trust-based relationships by listening to members’ goals, understanding their needs, and recommending personalized solutions that support their fitness success. It combines a passion for fitness with strong interpersonal skills to create a positive, motivating, results-driven member experience. Associates build relationships with members, answer questions, resolve concerns, connect members and guests with appropriate resources, and help maintain a clean, well-maintained, and safe gym. They provide a welcoming, informative, and inclusive sales and service experience and support new-member onboarding by greeting and checking in visitors and connecting members with fitness offerings. At locations with a Kids’ Club, associates may be assigned childcare and supervision responsibilities, including managing entry and exit, checking children in and out, contacting parents when needed, administering first aid, and cleaning and disinfecting the space. Associates may need to page parents when a child needs a diaper change or restroom assistance and communicate with parents about discipline concerns. California associates who work in a Kids’ Club must maintain confirmed TrustLine registration. The role requires flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Minimum travel may be required for training and lead generation. Team members are eligible for the company’s Fitness Sales and Membership Sales Commission Plans.
