About The Position

The Continental Automotive Group is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Sales and Leasing Consultants at Mercedes-Benz of Austin. This is a full-time position within a locally-owned, family-operated company that offers significant opportunities for advancement, paid training, and performance reviews. The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting vehicles, conducting test drives, and guiding customers through the entire sales process, including financing options and purchase agreements. Meticulous attention to detail in paperwork and adherence to reporting guidelines are essential. Requirements

  • Prior automotive sales experience is a MUST.
  • Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior luxury experience is preferred.
  • Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs and buying motivations and pair them with the correct vehicle.
  • Conduct product presentations and perform demonstration drives.
  • Ask customers to purchase the vehicle.
  • Continuously improve vehicle and process knowledge and educate customers on products and processes.
  • Assist customers at initial contact, provide professional follow-up, and assist after the purchase.
  • Track customers through meticulous input of information into the database.
  • Follow up by phone, email, and document all communication.
  • Learn and understand vehicle financing and present financing options to customers.
  • Advance to an elite product specialist capable of managing the entire sales experience from greeting to signing purchase documents.
  • Create purchase agreements, appraisal information, credit applications, and all other documentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal reporting guidelines.
