The Design + Sales position is responsible for actively pre-qualifying, pursuing, engaging, and closing sales for cabinets and related products and services. This role requires identifying, qualifying, and selling to contractor, design partner, and retail customer segments. These segments are crucial to the organization and necessitate a comprehensive pre-qualification effort with documented prospect reporting before full sales support is provided. The position requires adherence to a company-defined customer profile and a specific customer base for sales focus. Key activities include developing and closing new business, detailed customer list management, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, customer interface and management, sales material development and presentation, concept and final design development, budget/price estimate creation, and file management. The role involves daily communication with a diverse group including contractors, design professionals, site personnel, and various Tharp departments such as management, finance, manufacturing, project management, delivery, and installation, requiring professionalism and business acumen.
