About The Position

Naturescape is seeking to hire a full-time Sales & Customer Service Representative to provide support at our Peoria, IL branch. This role is ideal for someone looking to be a valued, respected, and long-term member of a close-knit team within a stable, family-owned business. Your day will involve providing customer support, identifying sales opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of the branch. During winter months, you will reconnect with customers to prepare them for the upcoming season. The role requires comfortable and confident communication, including asking for sales, and a willingness to learn about lawn care and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills (phone and email)
  • A positive mindset, with a solution-focused attitude
  • Comfortable talking to customers and asking for the sale
  • Computer and typing skills
  • The confidence to try new things and be willing to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as an Office Assistant
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist

  • Knowledge of lawn care

Responsibilities

  • Check in on customer emails and voicemails and respond with care, offering solutions.
  • Look for sales opportunities for services to fulfill customer needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers.
  • Help ensure the branch runs smoothly by processing mail daily.
  • Reconnect with customers during winter months to ensure they are set up for the season ahead.
  • Have real conversations with people and ask for the sale.
  • Play a key role in both sales and customer service.
