Responsibilities

  • Prepares a complete, version‑controlled documentation package and coordinates customer service needs with other functions by capturing the request and supporting documents, validating completeness against a checklist, standardizing file names and metadata, routing for approvals, recording decisions and owners, scheduling cross‑functional touchpoints, and tracking actions to closure in a shared log.
  • Leads customer communications on pricing, scheduling, and shipping by acknowledging inquiries within defined response times, clarifying scope and constraints, compiling data from pricing tools, inventory, and transportation schedules, issuing written quotes and delivery commitments, confirming mutual understanding of next steps, documenting the interaction in the CRM, and following up through to confirmed receipt.
  • Develops and executes limited sales engagements by creating a pre‑call plan and objectives, securing travel and budget approvals, conducting on‑site or virtual meetings with customers and suppliers to qualify needs, timing, and decision criteria, documenting outcomes and risks, coordinating quotes or samples with internal teams, updating the opportunity in the CRM, and scheduling the next milestone or handoff.
  • Ensures customer issues related to material quality and performance are resolved end‑to‑end by logging the complaint, acknowledging receipt and setting expectations, initiating containment actions, leading or coordinating root‑cause analysis with Quality and Operations, defining and implementing corrective and preventive actions with owners and due dates, verifying effectiveness, and providing periodic status updates and a final report to the customer.
  • Develops a disciplined inventory control process by classifying items and setting min/max and safety stock levels, reviewing on hand balances and demand signals at defined intervals, reconciling exceptions such as stockouts or past due orders, triggering or adjusting replenishment orders, communicating constraints and recovery plans to stakeholders, and maintaining a real time availability dashboard.
  • Prepares accurate purchase and sales orders and keeps customers informed by validating demand and commercial terms, entering complete and correct line‑level data, obtaining and recording order.
  • Ensures all work follows established procedures by consulting the current SOP or work instruction before starting, completing required pre‑ and post‑task checklists, documenting and obtaining approval for any deviations, recording training acknowledgments, participating in periodic procedure reviews to identify improvements, and updating records in the designated system.
  • Leads execution of assigned work by triaging tasks for urgency and impact, planning and time‑blocking activities, confirming prerequisites and dependencies, executing with standard templates, communicating progress and risks to stakeholders, escalating blockers early, and capturing lessons learned and next actions upon completion.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by TAI from time to time in its sole discretion – no percentage assigned
