Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, strategic accounts, or technical sales
  • Proven success generating and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to build a pipeline from scratch
  • Experience selling within manufacturing, industrial, precision machining, or engineered product environments
  • Understanding of technical sales cycles and complex manufacturing operations
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • OEM or engineered-to-order manufacturing experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new strategic customers in manufacturing, industrial, and engineered products markets
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies to generate qualified leads and new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and decision makers
  • Lead the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through quoting, negotiation, and closing
  • Present DRT’s precision manufacturing capabilities and long-term value proposition
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements while balancing profitability goals
  • Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within Salesforce CRM
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining focus on margins and operational capacity
  • Expand DRT’s market presence and establish long-term customer partnerships
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams
  • Support customer solutions aligned with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives
  • Help position DRT as a trusted manufacturing and precision solutions partner
