About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Sales Account Executive to join our sales team. This role involves understanding the connection between marketing and sales, and a passion for closing deals. The Account Executive will be responsible for bringing innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in St. Charles, MO, and surrounding areas. As a top-rated sales team, our Account Executives are the link between Lamar and the communities we serve, meeting and exceeding sales objectives through professional sales techniques and developing long-term advertising relationships.

  • Previous Outdoor Advertising sales experience preferred.
  • CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.
  • Target businesses in the assigned area and visit established Lamar clients as well as competitor's clients within a specified timeframe.
  • Exhibit working knowledge of local and national competition.
  • Cluster accounts to work them efficiently.
  • Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts.
  • Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, prepare proposals, written presentations, and conduct research.
  • Develop presentation skills utilizing computer tools and present to clients regularly.
  • Develop new product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Perform administrative duties including maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans a month in advance, following up on client production orders, problem-solving issues, and maintaining organized and up-to-date records of clients and sales activity.
