About The Position
HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Lithia Springs, Georgia, to support commercial construction projects. The role oversees project safety and OSHA compliance, promotes a culture where workers return home safely, and supports daily safety operations. Requirements
- At least 5 years of construction safety experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Experience in Confined Space Rescue.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.

Nice To Haves
- CHST certification or OSHA 500.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
- Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct daily safety audits and inspections.
- Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
