About The Position
HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Lithia Springs, Georgia, to support commercial construction projects. The role oversees project safety and OSHA compliance, promotes safe work practices, and helps ensure workers return home safely. The position is local only; no travel, per diem, or relocation is offered.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of construction safety experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Experience in Confined Space Rescue.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves
- CHST certification or OSHA 500.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
- Ensure all personnel wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct daily safety audits and inspections.
- Inspect power tools and heavy equipment.
