About The Position

The role focuses on workplace safety through routine inspections, enforcement of OSHA and company standards, safety communication and training, incident investigation, and personal protective equipment management. The position helps identify and address hazards, ensure workers understand site-specific risks and emergency plans, and prevent workplace injuries and repeat incidents.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect job sites or facilities to identify unsafe conditions, including fall risks, unguarded machinery, and electrical issues, and take steps to correct them.
• Ensure crew members follow applicable federal OSHA standards, including 29 CFR 1926 for construction or 29 CFR 1910 for general industry, and company safety rules.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and orient new workers on site-specific hazards.
• Ensure workers understand emergency action plans.
• Assist in tracking, reporting, and investigating workplace injuries, illnesses, and near misses to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Confirm workers have, wear, and properly maintain required personal protective equipment.
