Part-Time Faculty - CPD OSHA
About The Position
Teach OSHA and other CPD-related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the course. Teaching assignments may include evening and weekend classes. Faculty may be assigned courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. Assignments may require a physical presence at the designated on-site work location. CPD courses may be taught at any campus or at an external training site. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.
Requirements
- An associate degree or higher in an appropriately relevant field, or 10 years of industry experience in lieu of the education requirement.
- Five years of industry experience, unless qualifying through the 10-year industry-experience alternative.
- Alternatively, hold a licensure or certification, or have relevant experience, that leads to the competencies required to perform the position’s essential duties.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching CPD-OSHA coursework in higher education.
- Certification or licensure in the specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases, if applicable.
