About The Position

The Safety Manager will support a commercial concrete subcontractor performing structural concrete work on an active construction project in Forest Park, GA. The scope includes footings and foundations, slab-on-grade (SOG), and slab-on-deck (SOD) operations. This role will focus on field-level safety oversight, hazard identification, and enforcement of site-specific safety plans. The Safety Manager will work closely with field supervision and crews to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client safety expectations. The position requires a hands-on presence in the field, supporting daily concrete operations while promoting a proactive safety culture across all phases of work.

Requirements

• OSHA 30 Certification
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting concrete construction operations
• Proven experience working on commercial construction projects
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Strong field presence and ability to work in active construction environments
• Effective communication with crews, supervisors, and project leadership
• Strong working knowledge of commercial concrete construction activities, including foundations, SOG, and SOD operations.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations, job hazard analyses, and best practices for maintaining safe, compliant construction sites in fast-paced environments.
