The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs that comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners with plant leadership to establish and execute safety strategies aligned with organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. The Safety Manager will lead efforts to foster a positive safety culture by promoting employee engagement, accountability, and ownership of safety practices. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, overseeing incident investigations, monitoring safety metrics, ensuring regulatory compliance, developing training programs, conducting audits, leading emergency preparedness, administering recognition programs, providing coaching, and coordinating workers' compensation claims management. This position serves as the subject matter expert for all environmental, health, and safety matters and acts as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies.
