About The Position
The Walsh Group is seeking Safety Interns for its Wisconsin Region in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The internship program provides hands-on experience across operational divisions and prepares interns for potential leadership positions on and off the jobsite. Interns may travel across the United States and are matched with assignments related to their academic and career goals. Work may take place on jobsites or in the office, including supporting estimating and preconstruction pursuits. Interns will learn about multiple career paths and receive training intended to prepare them for full-time employment after college graduation. Specific roles may require relocation.
Requirements
- Ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assist project managers or field supervision staff with project coordination.
- Estimate costs for change orders.
- Solicit bidders and coordinate subcontractor activity.
- Schedule contracts and materials.
- Manage document control.
- Coordinate subcontractors.
- Support safety management.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Write RFIs and submittals, and assist with change orders.
